One of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to support the legacy of The Old Fort is to show up. Come visit when you can, and attend Our Events hosted throughout the year. We also invite you to support our Community Sponsors with purchases and visits to their websites and Facebook pages.

Come Meet the Staff and new friends at Volunteer Day, while helping out with a single project. Snacks and drinks are provided, and we have whatever tools are necessary. Check out Our Events to see the dates and just show up; no registration necessary.

Getting Involved

Volunteers are the lifeblood of any community service organization, and the Friends of The Fort is no different. We have many opportunities for individuals and organizations to pitch in and help us achieve the mission of preserving the legacy of The Old Fort.

Light Maintenance

We can always use a hand tidying up the grounds, fixing things, painting, and even dredging the old Las Vegas creek. There are many varied opportunities for your participation.

We love to partner with service organizations, schools, and companies that want to participate in keeping The Old Fort in tip-top shape.

Stories & Information

We would love you to share stories or other information that you might have from the early days of Las Vegas. Our historians will work with you to make it available.
